PRIVATE PILATES & YOGA SESSIONS
Sick of feeling sick and tired? Or maybe it's not so bad; you've gotten used to a perpetually tight neck, tweaky shoulder or achey low back but dream of living pain & pain-killer free.
Maybe nothing's "wrong" per se but you want better - more energy, to feel stronger, to push back and deny the affects of time and age.
Or this Pilates & yoga stuff is just something new. You know it would be good for you but you have no idea where to start. You get overwhelmed in a group setting or worry about making a fool of yourself in front of a room full of strangers.
You are worth it! Your time, $, energy.
You can make a change. It won't suck.
You'll wonder why you didn't start sooner.
Let me help.
Private sessions are a special treat you give yourself. This isn't just another workout. This is about you. Your body. Your needs. Your goals. Together, we'll track the mysteries of your body to bring healing and new life to injuries, length and space to chronically tight areas and bust through limitations (perceived and real) to get you where you want (and deep down you know you can) be.
"I'd been living with shoulder pain for several years before I started working with Lisa. Gravity and stress had taken a toll on my 50+ yr old body; I couldn't lift my arms over my shoulders, and I could only sleep when on my back. Physical therapy wasn't working: some aches were improving but others worsened. I was depressed about my prospects for the future.
Then I met with Lisa to talk about Pilates. Lisa listened to my story, studied my movement, and started working on a number of issues related to my shoulder pain. Not just the shoulders, but my back, arms, sides and abs. Shoulder pain doesn't hold me back any more. I am stronger, and my balance is better. I feel confident in my body, instead of feeling at its mercy."

Lisa is the most thoughtful, competent and down to earth instructor I have ever meet. As a 47 year old male with no previous experience, I was nervous to try yoga but, after some challenging heath issues, I knew I had to make a change and somehow I felt yoga could help. After a great initial phone call about my goals, limitations and fears we met for our first session. Little did I know what a life-changing experience this would be! I am now 20 pounds lighter and can do things I would seriously never of dreamed possible just 12 weeks ago. Every person close to me has commented on the positive direction my health (and my attitude) has taken!

I'm not one that feels comfortable in a group setting. Always the one in the back, observing more than doing. I preferred to stay in shape by using my elliptical and free weights at home. However - after breaking my hip - that was no longer possible. With Lisa's encouragement and support, I tried Pilates with her. Fabulous !!! So patient and informative.
We found lots of things that I could do to encourage the healing process and strengthen the rest of my body with some help and modification, working around my injury. Can hardly wait until I can actually do more with Lisa to get back my strength and confidence.
