Beginner's Series
Designed for those who are new to Pilates, working with injury or just getting back to their practice. Starts Tuesday, May 2nd.

Intermediate/Advanced Series

Designed for intermediate Pilates students who are ready to learn how to safely and effectively incorporate the more advanced Pilates movements into their practice. Starts Friday, May 5th.

I’m not one that feels comfortable in a group setting. Always the one in the back, observing more than doing and mostly stayed in shape with my elliptical and free weights. However - after recently breaking my hip - that’s not possible. With Lisa’s encouragement and support, I tried Pilates with her. Fabulous !!! She was so patient and informative. There were things I could do with her help and modification, working around my injury. Can hardly wait until I can actually do more with Lisa to get back my strength and confidence. She is very intuitive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. You will be welcomed to a positive and nurturing environment; but it’s truly Lisa that will get you coming back for more !!

Lisa is amazing. I am a 69 y/o ex-marathoner with the resultant tight hamstrings, spinal stenosis and herniated discs that one would expect. Low back pain has been a daily part of life for 20 years. Over the past few years, I have also had increasing generalized stiffness and decreased range of motion, attributable to “getting older.” I have done some stretching exercises taught by a physical therapist, to little avail.
I had never done yoga, but finally, at the urging of my yoga teacher daughter, found Lisa.
Now it is 4 weeks later. I have gone from never doing one yoga pose ever to working one-on-one with Lisa one session per week and going to 2 classes she teaches per week.
Results? When I awaken and rise, I am standing up straight! It has been years since that happened. Back pain has diminished. Entire body is less stiff and more supple. I stand straighter and am much more aware of my posture. I feel better!

JUST GETTING STARTED? 

This class is beginner-friendly and slower paced. All ages and ability levels are welcome, including those working with injuries. 

Candlelight Forrest Yoga

Fridays 5:30 - 6:30pm @ Zeal Yoga

With a focus on restful poses and releasing tension in commonly tight areas such as the shoulders, chest, back, hips and hamstrings, this class will help you to calm the nervous system, quiet the mind & rejuvenate the body. Expect gentle stretches, strengthening poses with longer holds, and a luxurious restorative Savasana to wash away the cares of the week.
